Frequently Asked Questions
(You asked, I'm answering!)
I LOVE YOUR GLASSES! Where are they from?!
They're these Rainbow frames from Eyebuydirect (still waiting on my sponsorship)!

What do you use to film?
For on-the-go or casual shots, I film with my iPhone 17 at 4K / 30FPS. For more static footage (ex. talking head shots) that I want to be filmed at a higher quality, I use my DJI Osmo Pocket 3. I record audio via the phone voice recorder app or the Osmo using the DJI Mic Mini.

I used to use this amazing $8 tiny mic and only switched away because my new phone doesn't have the right port anymore. But the sound quality is so good!

What do you use to edit?
I primarily edit with Premiere Pro on my PC, though I'll use my laptop when I'm traveling or want to work outside my apartment. For off-the-cuff videos, I'll edit directly on TikTok or Edits on my phone.

Usually, I use a combination of software—creating the first cut on Premiere, then finishing off the video in Edits to add colour filters and copyrighted music or trending audio.

Where and what did you study?
I graduated from UT Austin with a B.S. in Arts & Entertainment Technologies and a minor in Anthropology (I focused on cultural anthro). I also did an exchange program in the humanities at UCL! But most of what I learned in terms of design + art + creation was self-taught.

Do you have any tips on how to get started with content creation?
I have lots! Will do a deeper dive on this sometime in the future, but I think the biggest realisation for me in keeping creation fun + sustainable + resonant is genuinely to just be yourself.

Instead of trying to box yourself into a niche, see your online space as a place to experiment with your community instead of a stage where you're being scrutinised from every angle. No one cares about what you do (saying this lovingly). Only you care this much! Just have fun! And the growth will come. :)
